the one with farmer's market

If you follow me on twitter, (and if you don't, please do because I am in a Mommy Twitter contest) you know that we went to Farmapalooza (the Farmer's Market in Franklin) this morning. It was HUGE and much better than my disappointing trip to the one in Lennox Village a few weeks ago. We bought some peppers to grow, some habenero pepper jelly (to make that yummy stuff with cream cheese), and some hair accessories for Maya and me. I am sporting mine in the baby-wearing picture above. And here is little punkin, sporting hers....

.....I have to say she wears hers better than I wear mine :o) ........

.......and cute patootie (is that how you spell that???) with hers and an adorable smile......

......and a serious look for the camera.

It was a busy day. We went truck shopping again, but no luck for what we are looking for. When we got home, I tried to put Maya down for a nap in the crib, but she wasn't having it (for new readers, she has yet to sleep in her crib-it is either with me or in the pack n play), so into the pack n play she went. I need to buy that darn vibrating thing for the crib so that she can nap in it.

My college roommate came up to visit yesterday and met Maya for the very first time.

I think they liked each other.

I hope you are having beautiful weather where you are too!!!! Happy Weekend!
