Okay, I am going to start this off by saying, I know that I am the luckiest new mommy in the world. My newborn little girl is sleeping in 5-6 hour stretches in the night! I do realize that this is not normal and I realize that it is totally unfair to all the new mommies in the world. Our secret has been to wrap her in the miracle blanket, put a hat on her, put her in her carseat, and then tuck another blanket around her. The carseat sits in the snap n go stroller and I just roll it up beside my bed. We go down around 11 or so and she doesn't wake until 5 (and often we are waking her to feed her!) Eventually, I want to move her to the pack n play, but for now I am not changing something that works! :o)
She is still such a great baby! She was a little fussier today than she has been, but still not too bad. I do think her little tummy is bothering her a bit. Her success the other day has not continued as we had hoped it would. She has her 2 week appointment on Monday, so we will see what they say then.
Here she is sacked out on me last night. :o)

Just a warning... my mother used to put me in the car and drive me around when I was little to put me to sleep. IT also worked... but now I get really sleepy when I go for a ride in a car. Not so good! hahaha
let's just hope that she never has to get into a car seat when she is older and has to stay awake!! hahaha
