My baby is looking less and less like a baby.
Look how much she has grown.
She is eating bananas, sweet potatoes, pears, apples, avocado, squash, peas, peaches, and now baby oatmeal. I am very glad that we waited to introduce solids until 6 months. It has been a very easy transition. We started with fruits and vegetables the first month and then now this month are introducing grains. She adores baby oatmeal!
And look at her new trick! She is moving ALL OVER THE PLACE! We are going to have to start baby-proofing the house very soon. She has actually twice been able to go from sitting to her tummy. What a big girl!
At seven months, baby girl is army crawling and sitting up independently. She LOVES books (Brown Bear, Brown Bear is still the favorite), and is even helping to turn pages in the books. She plays peek-a-boo. She is starting to put toys in containers and has managed to get a shape in the right hole in a shape sorter a few times. She is exploring her environment more and more each day.
It is so absolutely amazing to watch her grow and develop everyday. Sometimes I still look at her and can’t believe she is really here. And I really can’t believe that it has been seven months since that wonderful day that she was born and forever changed our lives for the so much better.
