the one with the work shower

My baby shower cake is modeled after the material for our nursery-how cute is that?!

Okay, I have gotten major slack for taking so long to post this. :o) I know that I am usually good about posting that day or the next, but getting ready for baby is taking all my time right now!

I had such a wonderful shower at work this week. The wonderful Autism and EC staff that I work with threw me a fabulous shower. We got lots of great stuff that we really needed, and we are so grateful and thankful to all of you! I really enjoyed celebrating with all of the lovely women that I work with. Baby Maya is now set up with a high chair, exersaucer, diaper champ, bumbo seat, crib mobile, gift cards, and some adorable clothes! We are so grateful!

This is the adorable diaper cake that Becca made for me. It is currently decorating the nursery!

This sweet little frame was sent to me by my wonderful friend Sarah, who I have not seen in so long and miss dearly.

I also got to see some friends that I have not seen in a long time. It was a wonderful night with great friends and great food!

Also, we got some wonderful news this week. After they went back on Jared's back and took out more (17 stitches later), they called and said that they got it ALL! I am so relieved. I don't think I knew how worried I was until he called me and I started crying in relief. I was trying not to worry, but I think my subconscious was doing that for me. Thank you for all of your prayers!

I go back to the doctor on Thursday so I will have an update on my progress then. So far so good, but VERY tired and a bit uncomfortable. But I am not complaining-I am so grateful for our little miracle baby!
