the one with the "not me's"

I missedMckMama's therapy session, so this is a couple of weeks of "not me's". Thank you MckMama! Feel free to join in the weekly blog therapy session!


I DO NOT have a baby due in a little over 9 weeks that has settled in under my ribs, which leaves me feeling like I have a bruised rib all the time. Nope, NOT ME!


I AM NOT attempting to complete my little girl's nursery top-to-bottom in less than the next nine weeks. And by top-to-bottom, I DO NOT mean painting the ceiling, replacing the light fixture, painting the walls and trim, re-vamping the closet, putting together the crib, and REPLACING THE CARPET WITH NEW FLOORS! That would be completely insane!


I DID NOT have to take my poor little puppy to the vet to be completely sedated so that she could have an eye exam. And it is absolutely NOT because she is so anxious at the vet's office that nobody can do anything to her. I promise you people, this is serious.




I DID NOT stand in front of the nursing bras at Target this week looking very puzzled and trying to figure them out. I also DID NOT call my best friend to get her to explain them to me. I then DID NOT feel very stupid as she explained to me how they work. In my defense, I didn't see the little latch at the top :o)



I DID NOT go to Lowe's FOUR TIMES in about an hour on Saturday to get supplies for the nursery project. That would just be silly.



I DID NOT get out of work on Friday because it was too cold for Nashville to go to school. Whoever heard of a "cold day"???!!!! And I DID NOT get up at 5:00 that morning anyway because I just couldn't sleep.



I DID NOT do a complete "spring cleaning" of the house on Friday that DID NOT include mopping the floors. And than I DID NOT lie on the couch because I was almost completely incapable of walking because it did such a number on my back. That would be silly for someone who is 30 weeks pregnant right?
