the one with new floors

BEFORE and AFTER
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new floors! My husband will love them too as soon as he gets far enough away from the memory of how awful they are to install :o) Poor thing, it took him most of the day to just do the nursery, but I think he has a rhythm now so the rest should go a little smoother. It is amazing how different the room looks without the old, yucky carpet! We still have some work to do (painting trim, paint touch-ups, and shoe moulding) before we can move furniture in and get the nursery set up, but it has come a long way in a few weeks.

Here are some more photos of the room and the floor. My house is a major construction zone right now. It is confined to the front part of the house now, but soon it will move into our major living areas. I am going to have to practice some patience, because most of you know how well I do with disorder and chaos. It is a means to and end though, so I will survive!
Thank you all so much for your prayers for Jared and I! We appreciate it so much. I mostly am not thinking about him having to go back to the doctor, because it makes the waiting a little easier. Jared is really worried about my stress level, so I am working to stay calm for him and the little one.
Last thing.....Happy Birthday Zaden! I can't believe my best friend's baby is one! I will always have a kind of strange connection to his birthday because basically on the same day that he was born, Jared and I were told that it was very likely that we would never have a baby of our own. I remember feeling a very strange mix of happiness and sadness at his birth. I was so very, very happy for my friend, but really struggling with our own news. I am so grateful for all the wonderful things that this year has brought us, and I thank God every single day for this baby girl who will make an appearance in just over 8 weeks!

Oh my gosh, Jared did a great job on the floors! And thanks for the shout out to the Z man...I didn't realize the day he was born was the day you found out...did we talk about that when I was in the hospital..I kind of remember it now?? Maybe...or the baby brain is ruining my memory again!

Love ya! Can't wait to see pics of baby Klibbe and meet her myself!

OH, and I love your new ticker, that has the number of weeks and not just days left! Now I can quit asking you how pregnant you are! Crazy that she could technically come now and be small, but just fine! WOW! Hope you're ready!
