So, up to this point I have not been able to feel our baby because of my anterior placenta. But, last night Jared and I were laying in bed, and he had his hand on my stomach. He had just been asking me if I had felt the baby move, and I had said that I had felt some things this week that seemed like they might have been her, but I wasn't sure. That moment, I felt a very definite kick, and the kick also happened to land right directly in the middle of Jared's palm and he felt it too! She kicked another time that he felt, and then she kicked me a few more times. I am not sure if she is just now kicking where I can feel it or if now I know what it feels like and recognize it more. They are very, very soft pokes, but the ones that Jared felt most definitely were her!
We are starting to get to work on the nursery. We are trying to choose paint this week and we hope to paint by Christmas. We are planning to have all the carpets replaced sometime in January. I have my material picked out for the room. Pictures coming soon!

OH yeah, baby kicks! My dr thinks my placenta is the same as yours this time around...so I guess I won't be feeling as much until later on!
Oh baby kicks are the best! Enjoy!!! My third pregnancy, I had an anterior placenta, and it was many many weeks of not feeling anything, and then all of the sudden, she was a little soccer player! Oh, bless the rest of your pregnancy, I am just so happy for you.
