Fun, visiting friends

Here is a picture from last night. My best friend Lindsley, her baby Zaden, her friend Tracy, Tracy's husband, and Tracy's baby Sullivan came for a visit last night. As you can see from the picture there are two mommies and definitely a mommy-to-be. This is my one and only maternity shirt, but it is soon to be followed by more for my ever-expanding belly! We had such a great time visiting with friends! Jared got to hold and play with Zaden, who was very interested in Jared's face :o) The babies had a great time playing on the floor which my husband made sure was super-clean and mopped before they came over (yes, ladies I do realize how lucky I am to have a husband who helps me so much around the house). Also, Cali did great with them. We made her stay outside for the first hour or so, and then let her in. She was a spaz at first, but then calmed down. We even had the babies playing on the floor and Cali walked around them. It was great! It made me feel so good about how she will do when our little one arrives. She did like to lick their little faces, but the babies loved it!

Also, great news! We got a phone call Friday afternoon and our initial results from the tri-screen were negative, so we have some peace-of-mind about that.
