He was feeling very “serious” for this month’s picture. Which is kind of unusual for him. He is generally the most smiley baby!
Stats: My four month old is 16lbs!!! And he is 26 inches long. He is in size 1-2 diapers and is pretty much wearing 6 month clothing all the time now.
Sleep: Well, you know….. I birth big babies in this house, but I don’t birth babies that sleep well. Maya slept through the night when she was two. I have pretty much resigned myself to that being the case with Gray too. He has slept through the night twice and it was both times he got shots. So….if he follows suit I will get a good night’s sleep tomorrow night! He sleeps decent the early part of the night (like 7-11) and then wakes up every 2-3 hours after that.
Eating: He eats every 3-4 hours. Nursing like a champ. Before we know it, this little guy will be trying some bites of food!
Personality: Oh my! He is such a sweetie. He is also quite the little flirt. He is mostly laid back although here lately has been a little bit more high maintenance. He comes by it honest though right???
Development: Every time I put him on his belly, he rolls over to his back. He really squirms and tries to scoot to get over to his big sister when she is on the floor with him. He still LOVES standing up. He is actually happiest that way. I guess he can see the world! My favorite thing he does now is recognize people. He gets a big ole grin on his face when I come into his sight. I just love it!
He LOVES bath time now. Sometimes he gets in with sissy and sometimes he gets his own bath. (Depends on mom’s energy level)
BIG SISTER: 
Phew, she and I have had some rounds lately. I guess that’s what happens when you put two strong willed gals together. She is hilarious when she talks on the phone now. Jared often isn’t home for bedtime so we talk on the phone before bed. She has whole conversations with him now and they are so funny! Last week when everyone was sick she spontaneously asked “Daddy you feel better?” Another funny thing she does is ask for a snack and then says “it feel me better” She also tells us “I miss you so much”. The funny thing is that she will tell me that even if she has been with me all day. Smile. Her FAVORITE movie these days is Tangled. Which by the way is somewhat difficult to explain to a toddler. She calls Gothel the “attend (pretend) mommy” because that is how I explained why that’s not really Rapunzel’s mommy that she is pretending to be her mommy. And then when Gothel falls out of the window (Disney is violent I tell you!) she says “she not a nice wady (lady)” The last funny for this month is one day when I had gotten on to her she tells me “YOU NOT MY MOMMY! YOU GRAY’s MOMMY” Where does she get this stuff????????
She is still doing well on the potty. She only has a few accidents. Some days are much better than others. She does very well in her big girl panties when we are at home. She is pooping pretty consistently in the potty. She is funny because sometimes she tells us she is going and other times, she will go back there on her own and then come tell us she went. Our biggest challenge now is getting her to go at school. She told me last night, “I just don’t want to mama”. Well, how can you argue with that?? Last week when we were running errands, she told me that she needed to go potty at three different places and went.
This girl LOVES to drink the water in the bathtub. Do your kids do that?? I just think its disgusting!!! She is determined though.
