a fun-filled weekend

We had such a fun weekend! October truly is my favorite month. Not just because it’s my birthday month but because I LOVE Halloween and pumpkins, the beginning of the holiday season, cooler weather, etc. And I love it even more now that I get to share it with my little punkins!

Somebody is getting so BIG and loves his exersaucer now. He is also a little drool monster!IMG_7142 copy

First fun thing was the “Music and Molasses Festival” at Ellington.IMG_7154 copy

They had a great kids area set up where the kids could be “farmer for a day”IMG_7165 copyIMG_7170 copy

She loved feeding the goats and cackled every time they nibbled her hand.

Then we went to Aunt Nay-Nay’s apartment for a Halloween/Birthday party. She had cute decorations and yummy food. She is quite the party planner. She did lots of cool stuff off of pinterest (hello my new addiction).IMG_7214 copyIMG_7220 copyIMG_7228 copyIMG_7239 copy

I had Maya de-shirt to clean out the pumpkins. I should have known she wouldn’t touch the pumpkin guts. Well…really can you blame her???

Today we went back to the pumpkin farm (Maya loves it as much as I do)IMG_7345 copy

Gray got a bit “showered” by sissy in the corn bin. Like my dad said “it won’t be the last time”. He took it in stride though.

We even got a surprise and got to see a flying witch! That was something we hadn’t seen there before.IMG_7368 copy

Maya wanted a pumpkin straight out of the patch.IMG_7369 copy

It was a great weekend!

AND tonight was Maya’s first night in her big girl bed! She went to sleep with no problem. Let’s see if she stays there for the night….IMG_7344 copy
