Flurries fell in Nashville for the first time today. It was beautiful, but COLD! Jared hung Christmas lights today and we ventured out for a little bit to see all the decorations on our street. The cold doesn’t seem to bother Maya much and she looks pretty darn cute bundled up!
Several houses on our street have the big, blow-up lawn ornaments and we stopped to look at them. She kept saying “hi” “hi” and waving 
We found out Friday that Maya had fluid in both ears and was on her way to an ear infection, so we didn’t stay out long. She definitely is still not feeling herself. Poor girl! I hate when she is not feeling good. 
This girl LOVES everything about Christmas. Her current favorite words are “tree”, “santa”, “ho ho ho”, “ginch (Grinch), and “BUH-BUH” which is for Buddy our Elf on the Shelf.
Maya is hilarious. Every morning she asks to go find “Buh-Buh” and immediately comes out and looks for his new hiding place after his travels from the night before. She looks in all of the places that he has been and then usually finds him without our help. So far Buddy has been good and has not gotten into any mischief as he has in year’s past!
We had such a nice weekend and I am not ready for it to end. I wish every day that it could be snowing outside and we can be inside with a fire going, Christmas trees lit up, and just hanging out watching holiday shows.
