21 months

IMG_1119

My little 21 month old is a COOKIE MONSTERIMG_1110

This girl LOVES cookiesIMG_1123

And to make cookies too!IMG_1129IMG_1130IMG_1132IMG_1134IMG_1136IMG_1138

I can hardly keep up with all the words she says these days and she is starting to combine words too! Many of her words this month are Christmas words Smile “frosty”, “march”, “diddy” (cookie), “Max” (from the grinch), “Abby” (Abby Cadabby), “Elf”, “tissue” (she asks when she needs it for her nose), “who”, “touchdown”, “why”, “open”, “apple”,
“up”, “there is”, “owl”, “boosh” (milk, don’t ask, no idea), “Bubby” (Buddy the elf), “Santa”, “Ginch” (grinch),and she calls my sisters “Nay-Nay (Jenny) and “BB” (Brittany) and I know there are more.

She has mostly dropped her signs but she will still use them sometimes.

She follows directions well and really seems to understand most everything we say. She is pretty compliant most of the time, and even when she is testing she responds pretty well to just a warning. We are really working on sharing. This is sooo hard for her. I was out shopping with Mom and Maya had spotted a bin of balls. Mom took her over to them and she held one for a minute before putting it back. Then they walked away and another lady came up and picked up a ball. Maya yelled “NOOOOO” and probably scared the lady half to death. The same thing happened at the grocery store today when a lady went to pick something up where we had just been. I think she just thinks everything is hers!

She is very independent and wants to do everything by herself. She is really good with crayons and stickers. She does well with eating utensils.

I just am SOOO excited about Christmas this year. I know she is just going to be so much fun. Our Christmas starts tomorrow when Jared’s parents get here. We were very busy getting ready today.

Happy 21 months baby girl!
