the one with the three month old

Maya at 3 months old.

Slow down time! You are going by way too fast. I cannot believe this sweet little girl was born 3 months ago. Yet, at this same time, I can barely remember my life before her. It has been 3 amazing months.

Here are pics at two weeks, 1 month, 2 months, and 3 months. I have forgotten the sign in all but one so I guess I am not doing that. Mommy brain strikes again!

The funny thing is that Maya showed a lot of interest in her bunny this time and was batting at it and playing with it :o)

We tried out the bumbo seat for the first time yesterday-I think she liked it!

Milestones-"Talking" up a storm. She will coo and gurgle back and forth with you for a good 20 minutes. She is learning some cause/effect I think. She will look at a toy once it stops playing music and then look at us like "okay, turn it back on". She also really likes to kick the ball that hangs from her play mat and will search for it with her feet. She has really found her hands and they are always in her mouth (one finger, two fingers, three fingers, whole fist-whatever fits) and she is also holding toys for longer and purposefully bringing them to her mouth. She will tolerate tummy time for a little bit. She has rolled tummy to back a few times, but it has been on my bed and I think we cheated a little. I don't think she has technically done that independently yet. Her eye contact and socialization with people is amazing. People comment a lot on what a social baby she is. She loves people, but she definitely knows who her mama and daddy are :o) She lights up a room with her little smiling face.

I am so enjoying my time off with baby girl again. I hope these two weeks go by very slowly, but my guess is they probably won't so I am going to go enjoy them!
