Here lately, we have been finally getting to do some updates to our “new” house. And by “we” I mean Jared, while I watch the kids!
We haven’t done much since I was pregnant when we moved in and then had a newborn/infant/baby in addition to our toddler.
But, we decided to invest our tax return on a new couch and that motivated us to get started. We couldn’t put our beautiful new couch into a blah room. So….”we” painted nearly the entire house and put a new ceiling fan in.

Next steps are curtains, wall art, and in the distant future, new floors. I am so excited to finally be making this house our style.

Jared also refinished our table and it looks brand new.
Major props to my handyman husband, he has done some amazing work over the last few weeks and his painting has nearly become professional grade (he blames the fact that I have had him paint so many rooms)
