I should be taking a nap

…..but I’m not.

I never listen to that advice to sleep when the baby sleeps. Both my babies are sleeping right now, and I should be but I really wanted to get the photos of my camera and share them with you all, so here we are.

This is my second day with two kiddos all on my own. Yesterday went well. I even ventured out for a walk and a quick trip to sonic. Today started out a little…shall we say “busy”. Gray is having a growth spurt and I am not doing a good job of waking myself up fully at night to feed him and make sure he gets all the way full at feeding time, so I end up sleep nursing him and we both wake up about every 30 minutes. I’m gonna work hard on that tonight because I am feeling a bit sleep-deprived today. So I attempted to keep all of us in bed so that I could sleep a little this morning. Maya got to watch a few Doras until Gray decided to wake and then we were all up!

Maya played and played this morning which is good because it is yucky rainy outside and we can’t get out. We are getting the hang of our new routine and Maya is doing a little better each day. She LOVES her baby brother, but doesn’t necessarily love that she has to share mommy’s time with him. We are all adjusting. She is so sweet and adorable with him and it just melts my heart. I am so excited to watch their little relationship grow.

Here are some photos from the last few days:

Have I mentioned that he does a lot of this (during the day mind you…)IMG_4895

We took little miss to the park the other day and she is more and more of a daredevil every time. Look at her hanging from the “monkey bar” (not sure that just one qualifies to be called that, but that is what she calls it) Oh, she just looks too big to me. I can’t believe what a big girl she is now…

Gray snoozed in the shade while daredevil climbed the “wadder”. Look how high she got! Jared was steps behind her, but man she’s fast!

Daddy and daughter sliding down. “Hode my hand daddy!”

And Gray’s umbilical cord fell off, so you know what that means….FIRST BATH!

Following in his sisters footsteps he screamed and pooped in his first bath. Maya was there to “help”. IMG_4980

Maya has managed to drag nearly every one of her animals out into the living room and they were all “waying on de banket”…..and Gray snoozed some more (okay buddy…we got to do this more at night!)

And it was apparently naptime in my living room this morning and apparently everyone has to be lined up on the floor to nap!IMG_4993

Okay, maybe I should go attempt that nap now Smile
