We have a had a super busy two weeks between being sick and both Jared and I working a lot of hours. We had a busy, but fun weekend. This is likely Jared’s last weekend off before Grayson is born, so we didn’t waste any time.
Maya was super cranky on Friday. I had chalked it up to her not having a nap all week due to her giving up the paci.(Wahoo! We have been a week paci-free and she got to pick out a special Dora toy. She has done AMAZINGLY well with this transition). Saturday morning she woke up crankier, fussier, and WARM. I was starting to suspect something was up and then she was laying beside me in bed and she said “Mommy my ear hurt”. We loaded up and went to the doc and sure enough both ears badly infected. Medicine did a world of good though and she still had a pretty good weekend.
We had a VERY fun baby shower/cookout yesterday. I will share pictures as soon as my sister gets them to me. (note: that they dressed me up for the luau, so imagine a pregnant whale wearing a grass skirt-ha!)
Today we picked up some things that we need before baby makes his arrival. And let me tell you….I have been having some contractions today, so we’ll see how long I actually make it.
Until I have the shower pictures, here is Ms. Maya singing for you: (she loves her big sister shirt and often asks to wear it, but calls it her “baby brudder shirt”)
This my last full week of work- wahoo!
So I believe, the count is 8 days until the end of school!
And 32 days (or less) until my due date!
