Maya and I enjoyed a lazy morning at home. She has decided that this is her new favorite place to sit :)
She has become quite independent and wants to do things all by herself (insert hands pushing help away here). She actually got the first shoe on all by herself and got it the right way with the strap in the back. She tried and tried with that second one until she finally got tired of it and brought it to me and said “ha ha” (help). 
We played outside while we waited for Daddy to come home.
This is one of my new favorite pictures of her. She was on a mission to catch her birds. MAN that girl loves birds! They stayed close for a few seconds but flew away once we got too close :(
We had nice weekend, but I have also have a very heavy heart. I have a good friend who is going through something that no one should have to endure. I am praying for peace and comfort in her heart and I know she would appreciate any extra prayers. Also this evening, we learned of the passing of our neighbor friend who had been very sick. She will be greatly missed and I send prayers for all of her family and friends.
