My munchkin is 17 months old today. She was not super cooperative in my photo shoot this morning :)
And here is what this little one is up to….
Signs: more, all done, eat, bird, airplane, dog, baby, please, swing, thank you, fish, cheese, Barney. New this month: jump, ice cream. (she adores the Menchies frozen yogurt)
Words: “dada”, “mama”, “dog”, “moo”, “cat”, “quack-quack”, “vroom-vroom” (car), “go” New this month: “ni-ni” (night-night), “”ha-ha” (hot), “nana” (banana), “neigh-neigh” (horse), “nah-nah” (pacifier), “n-uh” (clean-up)
She is cutting her other 3 molars-BOY those are big teeth! It’s no wonder she is cranky! I think she has about 12 teeth. We have been preparing her football season and she will do “touchdown” (arms over head and two fingers pointed up)..gotta get that on video! When we read this book, she sings “la la la” and it is too cute! Oh boy, and she has definitely hit the tantrum stage. It actually has gotten better as she is learning that tantrums don’t get her her way, but she can throw one with the best of them. She gives kisses and hugs, which is just too sweet for words. She answers yes/no questions by nodding and really seems to understand the difference! She knows lots of body parts: head, eyes, nose, mouth, neck, toes, feet, fingers, belly, elbow, ears, hair, teeth, tongue, etc. She hasn’t been too interested in sitting on the potty this month, so i’m not pushing it. We are just sitting on it briefly each night at bath time. She imitates lots of things that we do and say now….so watch what you do!
Size: 18 month clothes, but i bought 24 months for fall. Still in the size 3 diapers. She probably could go up, but they aren’t too small yet so we are sticking with those. And I have started buying size 5 shoes.
She wasn’t too smiley for pictures today and she did NOT want to wear this outfit with the bows on the shoulders. She kept trying to pull them off! I still think she’s adorable, pouty face and all :)
And a funny video. She has always thought this word was so funny! She was actually cackling before I pulled the camera out.
