16 months ago this little girl joined our world, and it hasn’t been the same since :)
Happy 16 months Maya!
And here is what our little munchkin is up to….
Communication:
Signs: more, all done, eat, bird, airplane, dog, baby. New this month: please, swing, thank you, fish, and a sign that she made up to ask to watch Barney which involves a very aggressive clapping of her hands :)
Words: “dada”, “mama”, “dog”, “moo”, “cat”, “quack-quack”, “vroom-vroom” (car) New this month: “go”and “ga ga” (Grammie) and then she is really trying to imitate most words that we are saying. I think the words are really about to start coming out!
Other: She officially has 10 teeth. She has started putting pieces in a puzzle by herself. She also loves to “play babies”- she likes to wrap them in blankets, pretend to feed them, rock them, and put them in her stroller and high chair. It is TOO cute! She also plays with her doggy all the time. She has started trying to lick Cali-yuck! And she also tries to pull her collar (just like she sees Mommy do).
Size: 18 month clothes, size 3 diapers, and size 4 shoes.
