This is what they have dubbed our winter storm here in Nashville :) We have a good 5 inches at our house with about an inch layer of ice on top. 5 inches may not seem like much to you northerners and you may be laughing at us poor southerners, BUT what you may not realize is that Nashville is not equipped to deal with this kind of weather. We don’t have snowplows that can get out and clear the roads, so this kind of weather pretty much shuts us down. They are having trouble getting the interstates clear, let alone the secondary roads. Poor Jared is trying to brave these roads to get into work right now. We’ll see how far he makes it…

as there isn’t much else to do with this kind of weather :)
