SNOW DAY!!!!

It really is hilarious to live in the south in the winter. Everyone get so excited about a little snow. Multiply that excitement by about a thousand when you are talking about school closings. You think that the kids are excited about snow days….really you have NO idea how excited teachers get about snow days! We get phone calls in the county I work for and there is nothing sweeter than getting that call that school is CLOSED! It is even better for me now, because it means I get to spend the day with my munchkin. And here was our day….

Okay, so we woke up to no snow. Waaaa! No snow, and schools were closed you ask? Yeah,  you just have to live here to understand. TRUST ME.

So this is Maya’s first snow day:

I was VERY helpful to Daddy while he was putting away his laundry this morning. Look at how my hair stands up!

Mommy was sad and kept talking about this thing called “snow” and that she just couldn’t believe that we didn’t have any. She also kept talking about going sledding. I did manage to entertain her while we waited for the “snow” though.

 

Then FINALLY the snow arrived. Mommy put me in this funny suit and stuck me outside in this cold, white stuff. I thought it was very cool!

Look at “all” this snow!!!-ha ha!

Since it was sooo COLD outside, Mommy brought some of this “snow” inside for me to play with. BRRR it was cold!!!
