Thanksgiving

I am so very thankful for the wonderful people in my life. I never knew how much joy these two little people would bring to our life and those around them. I have so much enjoyed this holiday break with my two little ones, I can't believe it is almost over!

We decorated early because we were traveling for Thanksgiving and Jared didn't have too many evenings home, so we did it when we could. The kids were so excited! My favorite part of decorating is all of the memories that ornaments bring. The kids, especially Maya, shared that with me as she remembers them now too.

We travelled to Grandma and Papa's for Turkey day, and these two little turkeys kept me quite busy. I love this photo of them on the piano. I am taking a editing class and am doing my own black and white conversions now. I love how this turned out!

Maya got to draw on the easel that her daddy used as a child. She quickly filled it with art work.

They got a little nutty, so we spent some time out on the golf course while dinner was cooking.

This reminds me of the famous statue with the flag and the soldiers.

 I don't even know...

Love this one of the two of them!

We had some leftovers on Friday with Mimi and Pops. This was getting ready to break the wishbone.

And here they go

And this little one decided to climb up on top of his changing table and smear diaper cream all over his face (have i mentioned he shoved a french fry up his nose and a pencil eraser in his ear, and that we have a hotel latch on the pantry door because he otherwise will open it and scale the shelves?)
Oh my….

Seriously, I am so very thankful for my wonderful family and that we got to spend the holidays with loved ones. I am also very thankful for my family's health and that Brandon is making great strides every day. Please continue to keep him and Brittany in your thoughts and prayers. They still have a long road ahead.
