Well…yesterday…but better late than never.![]()
This little guy is talking up a storm! He apparently didn’t like me saying that he wouldn’t say “mama” so he has added that this month. He is repeating so many things. One of his current favorite words is “guh-guh” which is Gray-speak for “pumpkin”. (That’s my boy!) He also now says “no”, “shoes”, “hat”, “cup”, and some other things that I am sure I am forgetting.
He is hilarious with his blankets! He loves to drag a blanket over to the couch and have us wrap him up in it. He just LOVES it! He is still really into reading books. He is still quite the busy little guy. He is a climber and is very adventurous. ![]()
He is some drama too, just like big sister. Last night, I got home from work and normally he just runs right over to be picked up, but last night I came in and he just stood there and when I got close enough he just laid face down on the floor like I had just wounded his little feelings! He is so funny.
You wouldn’t believe this guy is borderline for his weight. He must have some crazy metabolism because he eats like a horse. I feel like we are always feeding him. And boy you better not try to actually feed him, none of that! He is a big boy and wants to do it all himself!
This girl gives us a run for our money. I am definitely growing gray hairs and I am blaming every single one on her. Jared and I have to be super creative in our parenting of this one. And I have to keep my emotions out of parenting her, because she just loves to push my buttons.
It’s funny because we met with her teacher this afternoon who says she is doing great at school and is so QUIET and RESERVED, and I don’t think she really believed me when I told her some of the behavior stuff she is pulling at home.
All that said, when we are not pulling our hair out trying to stay ahead of her game, she is a wonderful, imaginative, sweet little girl. ![]()
I love watching her play. She is currently into re-enacting all of her favorite movies, complete with making Gray be her (unwilling) prince. My favorite was when she draped a scarf from her head on top of the bed and told Gray to climb up her magic hair. Ha!![]()
This was as close to a sibling pumpkin patch picture as was going to happen this weekend. ![]()
And I was trying for some cute photos of them this week as well. ![]()
I love the look on her face here.![]()

They really do adore each other. Well…most of the time anyway…![]()
