After having so much fun at dance camp this summer (well..with the exception of the double-ear-infections-dance-recitals-episode), she was pretty excited about dance class. Especially after she found out she would be dancing with one of her friends.

She did so great! I was watching her on the TV and she was doing all the moves with the teacher. We have come a long way as there were no tears whatsoever and she went right in with her teacher. So proud of her! I asked her if she wanted to go back and she said “yes lots and lots because I love it so much”
Speaking of loving something. Wow! She really really LOVES school. She has learned so much in the last 5 days of school. She learned how to write the letter T, she is saying parts of the pledge of allegiance, she has learned new songs, and she is playing teacher all the time. Anyone nearby becomes her student, Grayson and I being her favorite victims. Today she taught us that a triangle has three sides and the sides are like a slide.
Here she was leading our vocabulary lesson, complete with lots of praise “good job Mommy” and trying to get Gray to answer her questions.

And we got our first homework assignment to make a leaf that represents our family to put on the class tree. I can’t promise that I will always be so on top of it, but we finished our project and will send it back to school tomorrow.
She was very proud!
