This picture gets harder and harder to take each month :)
Teeth: Holy Moly! This kid has his two on the bottom and has FOUR (yes, you read that right) FOUR teeth coming in on the top at the same time.
Sleep: I shouldn’t jinx us as things have been a wee bit better lately. And by better, I mean he only wakes up once before his 5am wake up. Teaching children to sleep is not something I’m listing on my resume, because CLEARLY I don’t know how to do it.
Eating: We have made some big steps with foods this month. He is eating small soft pieces of food. He loves cheerios and we have recently discovered he loves pieces of ham and chicken. He is finger-feeding himself peas, carrots, bananas, cheerios, potatoes, kiwi, cheese, and more. He is trying new things each day. He is a much better eater than sissy was.
He is wearing 9 months clothes and even some 12 months. He is in a size 3 shoe.
He wants to be such a big boy and do all the things the big kids do.
I see parts of both of our personalities in him. He is determined and yet laid back. He is starting to really let us know his preferences and when he wants something. He is such a sweet sweet boy. He does love to antagonize big sister!
Happy 10 months baby boy!

BIG SISTER:

My big 3 year old!
She loves to learn. We were working in her Dora coloring book the last few days and I was impressed with her comprehension for some of the worksheets. She is very interested in numbers and letters and time. She loves to draw a sun.
She also likes to play a game where we guess what each other draws. I am pretty sure she picked that up from watching me play draw something.
She loves to play “eat wunch (lunch)” and feeds all of us and her babies. I swear this kid is going to be the mother to multiples or run a daycare someday because she is forever caring for no less than five babies at a time. These babies need diaper changes more than any babies I have ever seen! She is very adept at tee ball as we recently discovered.
I was so proud of her last week when she held her own in the chick-fil-a play place last week. There were several big kids in there, which usually deters her from playing at all. I encouraged her to go up and use her words. She did great! And she even told me “mama, I make new friends!”
And that’s what our two babes are up to!
