beloved flowers

Have I mentioned this girl LOVES to be outside?

She is quite the little gardener (which usually means pulling all the leaves and flowers off of everything-let’s just call it “pruning”)

18456579696_ORIG The funny thing about this little frog is that Maya actually leaned down and kissed it! I asked her if she was trying to find her prince :)

Maya and her beloved flowers (LOVE this shot!)

IMG_3862 This is what she did when I said “show me your flower”. She is really understanding so many things and (GASP!) starting to follow some directions! It is really so much fun to see how much she understands now.

And…..the house that is speedily being built.

This shot was on Friday….

And this shot was on Sunday (no roof and then there was a roof!) 4-18-10

Oh boy! This whole process is nerve-wracking. We walked around the house today and I just LOVE it. I am trying not to feel too excited because there are so many “what-ifs”, but it just FEELS like our home. We had 3 showings this week on our house, but no offers yet. It only takes one!

The thing is, I know that it is all going to work out the way it is supposed to. We are so very blessed to have the home we have now, and honestly we probably wouldn’t move if it were in the right county. We are making this move because we feel that it is the right thing for Maya for school, but if this isn’t right then it will work out another way. The hardest part for me is just the unknown. Will we sell and move or not? Will we have to find a temporary home in between if our house sells and the new house isn’t ready? It’s out of my control and that is hard for me, BUT i know that this is not my plan and I just have to trust. Easier said than done though right?

So how much dirt has she eaten? Because I have a budding gardner on my hands and she gets plenty of fist fulls of "ruffage."
I totally get the moving plan. Our next place (which I hope is a tiny bit bigger than this one) will be in the right school district. Funny to me because not too long ago, my hubby and I chose our apartment by how close it was to a) the beach, b) the bar & c) the liquor store. Munchkins change everything huh! :)

That's right...it will all work out the way it is supposed to. Hard to wait for and trust thought. I totally understand...take it one day at a time though and all will be as it should be. That's what I keep telling myself.

WOW....the house is really coming along! And she is so cute "gardening" it's so funny to me though..with her little blanket spread out in the wheelbarrow (obviously she's a girl) and her little dainty self in the dirt...too cute!
