ANOTHER snow day

Don’t get me wrong. I am NOT complaining. I love having the days home with my baby. We are actually home again tomorrow. I am starting to think we may still be in school in July this year though, as there is more snow forecasted in the coming weeks. I am really starting to wonder if I still live in Nashville. There has been snow on the ground for weeks now. Typical for Nashville is maybe one snow of about an inch, the whole city panics and shuts down, and then 3 hours later it is melted. But this year it is totally different.

Maya loves the snow days because Mommy is home!

She has recently become attached to any and all soft stuffed toys/animals. She “loves” on them by hugging and tackling them :)

She is also getting quite adept at walking behind her push toys by herself. Daddy and I got her this little baby stroller for Valentine’s day and it has a good wide base that she is able to maneuver really well. She has let go several times, but then immediately plops down to her little bottom. It is so fun to watch the new stuff she does everyday.  IMG_1671

Oh, and does she ever love to get into Daddy’s media components. She is very good at changing the volume and channels. We have got to baby proof that area because she WILL NOT leave it alone! :) See how proud she is???

We also need to get the cabinet latches because she LOVES getting into those too as you can see from the fun she is having below…..

And Daddy brought in a snowball that she thought was pretty cool :)IMG_1699 We will see what kind of trouble we can get into on our snow day tomorrow!!!!

Oh, and I also have to show you the delicious dinner my hubby cooked last night YUM YUM YUM

I know you like the snow and I can't blame you but I'm beginning to hate our snow! I was thinking you got her like a light weight baby umbrella stroller...makes sense now that she can walk behind this one! Have another good snow day at home!
