Only 6 more days!

Yeah! I absolutely cannot wait! Jared and I are so excited about our trip. In exactly a week, we will be on a plane and a few hours away from being at this very spot! Our first real vacation since our honeymooon almost four years ago. It is hard to believe that we are coming up on our four year weddng anniversary. Three years before that and four years married-seven years together-wow! It sure doesn't seem like it has been that long. I can easily say that we are just as happy now as we were seven years ago. I am a very lucky and blessed woman. We spent the day out on our deck yesterday trying to get some sun so that we don't go to Mexico and get fried!

We spent some time with some of my favorite friends and their 14 month old little girl this week. Jared and I had so much fun playing with her, and their family is just so adorable. I am so happy for them, but I also couldn't help feeling a little sad for us. It is hard to watch so many of our friends starting families, and wondering if we will ever have that. But, I am trying to stay positive, because I am hoping that it will happen for us in these months post-surgery. Only time will tell!

Anyway, back to the excitement of the trip. I am trying to do no carbs this week, in a last-ditch effort to drop a few pounds before our trip :o) We loaded up on sunscreen and a waterproof camera yesterday. Last time we went, in all the wedding chaos, I forgot to buy and pack sunscreen. It was very, very expensive to buy in the tourist shops down there. Also, the underwater camera that we bought for snorkeling down there cost us about $15, and I got one for half that here yesterday. I will definitely be posting pictures as soon as we get back!
