Phew! It has been a busy few weeks. Birthdays, dance recitals, swim lessons, etc, etc, etc
Maya is quite the little swimmer! Such a difference from the little girl who was screaming at the side of the pool last year.
She is kicking on a kickboard by herself.
And floats on her back a few seconds by herself (if she keeps her chin up)
She is also now jumping in from the side of the pool with no help. She can doggie paddle/crawl a few feet and swim a few feet under the water. She is so very proud of herself and so are we!
I have been wanting to do a photo shoot in this dress for months. I am struggling some with the edits. I now know enough about editing that I know how it is supposed to look, but not quite how to get there. I want to take some classes very soon that will hopefully help me out.
This isn't technically perfect by any stretch, but I love that they are both smiling! I won't tell you the dances I had to do to make that happen.
Little man is having a hard time right now. There have been lots of things going on in his little life and he is just not himself. He ran a fever last week, and I figured out that it was likely from the vaccine he got at his two year check up. He had also had a runny nose, so I had just thought he had a virus of some sort, but who knows. He is also going through some extreme attachment issues with me, where he just wants to be held ALL THE TIME. I think some of it has to do with starting MDO, and some of it is just the terrible twos rearing their ugly head. I really miss my happy, go lucky little man, and I hope this is a very quick phase!
