I can’t believe that this little guy is 8 months old today.
Let me tell you this 8 month old is MOBILE!!!!!! He pretty much learned to crawl and stand up in the same day. He crawls across the room and pulls up on EVERYTHING! He is now cruising on furniture and taking steps when his hands are held. He even lets go when he is standing. He has NO fear! He is going to give his mommy way more heart attacks then his big sister did. She was much more cautious and fearful.
He went to from no teeth to TWO teeth this month. He is getting his bottom two front teeth. Man those suckers are sharp..I forgot about that fun stage of nursing! I have a feeling biting might be an issue with him. Maya bit me once and I yelped and she never did it again. Gray doesn’t seem to be as phased by mommy’s pain.
And if you are wondering if he is always this smiley, the answer is YES. I don’t know that I have ever seen a happier baby.
Sleep: Is still getting better. He goes down at 7 without a peep for the most part. He generally wakes around 11 and goes back with just a paci return. Then he makes until 2-4am before wanting to eat. Then goes back down until 7 (if we are lucky).
Eating: He is still eating lots of fruits and veggies. His favorites are bananas, apples, mangos, and sweet potatoes. I need to start thinking about adding some meats in.
BIG SISTER: 
I am happy to report is doing VERY well. She has been healthy and happy! We still have to work on “listening ears” quite a bit… especially when related to not trying to pick up or “help” brother.
She is getting very excited about her upcoming birthday. OMG I can’t believe she is going to be THREE! Where has the time gone???
If you ask her, she will tell you that her birthday is “March 22nd” and she is going to have a “pwincess party”.
This child has a memory like a steel vault. She does not forget ANYTHING! She is very good at recognizing familiar signage i.e. Target and Starbucks. Last night we drove by a Chilis and she said “Mommy and Mimi and Nay Nay and Maya and Gray eat there”. It was weeks ago when we all ate there and we have only eaten there a few times with her so it is not even a familiar place to her. Blew my mind!
She is quite the little singer! “Timmy Turtle” and “This little light of mine” are the favorites these days. I need to get those on video!
Anyway, those are my two little munchkins that fill our little world and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
