5 months old!

Another month has passed….IMG_7939…Yup, my little man is 5 months old.

He is the smiliest, sweetest little guy.IMG_7863

He is at that stage where EVERYTHING goes in his mouth and he is quite the little drool monkey! Maya was 7 months before she got her first tooth, so we shall see how little man compares.IMG_7942

Sleep: Has been bad and good. He has had a few night lately that he wakes up only twice (yay for me!) but then last night was not good. He was up every hour and had difficulty settling back.

Eating: Still eats great and next month we get to start the adventure of food!IMG_7948

Development: I am scared for when this little guy is mobile. My arms are exhausted from holding him. He moves and squirms and does NOT sit still. He can sit propped up for a few seconds. He is more interested in toys these days and activating them. He LOVES the exersaucer and banging on the little piano.

BIG SISTER:

Oh….big sisterIMG_7874

So full of spirit

She comes up with new stuff everyday. I kinda wish I walked around with a voice recorder to capture all of the funny things she says. She is so into pretend play these days. She is constantly cooking something, taking a trip somewhere, doctoring somebody’s boo boo, or going to the grocery store. She is such a good big sister and constantly comforting her brother “it okay brudder, mommy be right back. it okay I pwomise”

She has such a sweet little heart. She is constantly telling us “I love you so much” “I miss you so much”. She independently thanked Mimi for putting up a new swing for her and Grayson. (most adorable thing ever…)

Still going on the potty training. I am going to have to get brave and bump us into the next level of wearing panties all the time. At school she had one of her old teachers one day. Ms Sara said that when she tried to get her to go to the potty she said “we really need to work on that!”

Oh how these two adore each otherIMG_7853bw

Gray just wants to see Maya all the time. Maya is all about him too (often a little too much). I am constantly telling her to get off her brother, don’t squish him, arms off his neck, stop pulling his arms, etc, etc. It is going to be interesting as he starts getting mobile and into her stuff…let the fun begin!!!
