I feel very loved and blessed today. I have gotten so many phone calls, emails, text messages, songs, and facebook messages from all of my friends and family. I feel so lucky to have so many people remembering me on my birthday.
It is interesting. This birthday feels so weird to me, because it seems like I definitely have to say that I am an adult now. I guess I have been an adult for quite awhile now, but somehow when you are still in your twenties it seems that you are still young.
I remember my parents being 30 and I thought that was old! Now I find myself a year away from that. It is funny how when you are young, you think ahead and say "oh, when I am 30 I will be this and have this...." I always thought I would have a couple of kids by 30. That is probably just because my mom and dad started so young. I think my mom already had 3 little ones by the time she was 30. Well, I will have one anyway :o)
I had a wonderful time with my family tonight. We went to Wild Ginger for dinner. It was a very fun experience. It is always a little scary going to a new place with my family, because everyone has very particular tastes about what they like. I made a good choice though, because it was different but very, very good. We had a great time! There was also lots of excitement about my upcoming doctor's appointment too. I think it is becoming more real for everyone, including me :o) Here are some photos from the evening.....

you could mention that your middle sister couldn't make it bc of work, but she still sang happy birthday over the phone. bc now i just look like a bad sister! :)
